Things To Do In Flagstaff
We are blessed to live in a community with 4 seasons, an abundance of national forest (the second largest ponderosa pine forest in the world), and amongst 7 natural wonders (The Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, The Petrified Forest/Painted Desert, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, and the San Francisco Peaks)...in fact, Flagstaff is one of the few places in the world where you can go through several climatic regions within a hour. We are 2 hours north of Phoenix, 31/2 hours from Las Vegas, 45 minutes from Sedona, and 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon. In the winter, you can ski in the morning...and play golf that same afternoon. We have wonderful museums, an observatory, an abundance of hiking trails, beautiful small lakes, and a dynamic artistic community with an abundance of activities and events.
